Terms of Service & Legal Notice
By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Trail Axis, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.
1. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland (QLD), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
2. Accuracy of Site Information & Trademark Notice
We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, metric dimensions, weight ratings, and pricing. Independent Outdoor Brand Notice: Trail Axis is an independent supplier of technical bushwalking hardware and navigation accessories. Trail Axis is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Black Diamond, Leki, Garmin, Silva, Suunto, or Sea to Summit. Any comparative references are made strictly for functional specification, locking mechanism type comparison (e.g., external lever clamp vs twist lock), and technical clarity. Trail Axis reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.
3. Backcountry Safety, Navigation Responsibility & Pole Load Limits
Wilderness Navigation & Inherent Risk Warning: Remote bushwalking, alpine trekking, and off-trail navigation carry inherent risks of getting lost, severe hypothermia, dehydration, venomous snake bites, and falls. Navigational compasses are orientation aids; users are solely responsible for carrying detailed physical topographical maps, maintaining route-finding proficiency, and carrying a licensed emergency beacon (PLB). Trekking Pole Structural Limits: Trekking poles are designed for balance, rhythm, and distributed weight assistance; they are NOT structural mountaineering ice axes or fall-arrest anchors. Never extend pole shafts past the marked "STOP" or "MAX" indicators, as doing so can cause sudden shaft snapping under body weight. Trail Axis is not liable for wilderness disorientation, trail slips, or injuries resulting from improper navigational planning or exceeding pole structural limits.
